Diane Loughrey Hanna, age 68, of Newport, passed away with her sister by her side on Tuesday July 5, 2022.
Diane graduated from Conrad High School in 1972 and later graduated from Delaware Technical Community College with a degree in nursing. She worked for DuPont at the Experimental Station until she retired.
Diane was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church. She was devoted to her dogs and cats and enjoyed going to the beach.
Diane is preceded in death by her parents Jack and Rosemary Hanna.
She is survived by her sister Pam Hanna and several cousins.
Services for Diane will be held at 11am on Wednesday July 13, 2022 at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 East Justis Street, Newport, DE 19804. Visitation will begin at 10am. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway Wilmington, DE 19808.
