Age 80, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013.
Dolores was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Philip E. Wittmer in 2012 and her grandchildren, Cora Beth Vaughan and Philip Tomlinson; and son-in-law Larry Harden.
Dolores is survived by her children, Pamela Harden, Shaun Vaughan (Glenn), Stacie Wittmer and Scott Wittmer (Anna); sister, Mamie Layaou (Fred Sr.); brothers Jack Layhue (Lynn) and Robin Layhue (Missy), 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 12:30PM on Tuesday, January 29 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St., Newport, De 19804 where visitation will begin at 11:30 am. Burial will be at Delaware Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.
The family requests contributions to be sent to the funeral home to assist with the expenses.
