Dolores Worrall

Dolores A. Worrall, Age 84 of Dover, DE and previously a resident of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. She was born August 24, 1939 to Marie and John Perkins. Dolores enjoyed playing Bingo and heading to the casino to try her luck on the slot machines, and more recently she enjoyed hanging out at the American Legion in Smyrna.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years James E. Worrall Sr, whom one of their favorite activities together was taking long road trips to nowhere often getting lost somewhere along the way. Her mother and father Marie and John Perkins, sisters Helen, and Bunny and brothers Leonard and Nathan.

Dolores was an amazing mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her four children James Jr. (Linda), Joyce (Terry), John (Laura), and Jeanine. Grandchildren Jimi III (Sarah), John (Jessica), Crystal (Brett), Morris (Megan), Lisa (Chris) and TJ. As well as numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Interment in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be private. A celebration of life will be held at Goodwill Fire Co. #1, February 15, at 1pm.
