Donald Fields was born on April 29, 1944 in Middletown, DE to the late Josephine Martin and Solomon Todd. He departed this life on April 11, 2021 at Wilmington Hospital.
Donald was known for his loving spirit, grace and generous heart. He was a very affectionate person who would always greet you with a hug and a smile. Some of his favorite activities included bowling, fishing, coloring, listening to music, dancing, cars and a good conversation with family and friends. He enjoyed dressing up and showing off his socks but please do not touch his hat or wallet.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Martin; his father, Solomon Todd; his step father, Ellis Martin; step mother, Helen Todd and his best friend, Eddie.
Left to celebrate and honor Donald’s is his brothers, Victor Martin (Allison Scull), Ernest Todd; his sisters, Seretha Stokes (Alan), Darlene Stevenson, Leatrice Simmons and Ernestine Todd-Albert. He also left to cherish his memories aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family would also love to acknowledge Donald’s extended family from the Cheshire home (CSI) and the other agencies that took part in allowing him to enjoy his life to the fullest.
The family is planning on a memorial service at a later date. Please continue to keep us in your prayers.
