Donald J. Foster, Sr., age 91, of Elsmere, DE passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.
Born on Barley Mill Road in 1932, Don graduated from A I duPont High School. He recently celebrated 67 years with his loving wife, Lois, raising a family of 5. Don retired after 40 years on a private estate and always shared fond memories of his employer and his family.
Pop loved family first, the beach and working on antique cars. You could catch him cruising, own Kirkwood Highway in his bright yellow 1956 T Bird, waving to everyone.
Pop lived life to the fullest every day and made it his mission to make everyone smile.
Don was preceded in death by his daughter, Denise Singer; and his grandson, Brian Foster.
He is survived by his wife, Lois; Son, Don Jr.; 3 Daughters, Tammy (Keith), Holly (Rich) and Karen (Jeff); 6 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren.
