Donald Lamonte Gordon, age 56, of New Castle, formerly of Wilmington, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.
Donald attended Newark High School. He worked as a truck driver for over 10 years.
Donald was a loving and caring father. He loved playing basketball and hanging out with family and friends. Donald was always smiling very bright.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Lottie Gordon and Thomas Wynn.
Donald is survived by his children, Donald Miller, Ciara Gordon, Donald Gordon Jr, Jaden Gordon, Mehki Gordon and Jada Gordon; two grandchildren; siblings, Andrew “Ray” Gordon, Sylvester Gordon, Thomas “Pinky” Gordon and Stacey Gordon and a host of other brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Ezion Fair Baptist Church, 1400 B Street Wilmington, DE 19801, where visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. A repasts will follow in the Fellowship Hall.
