Doris A. Buckingham, age 77, of Wilmington, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021.
Doris was a driver for DART for 17 years before retiring in 2011. She also was a Tatnall School bus driver for 15 years. Doris enjoyed gardening and shopping, especially at antique stores.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Helen L. Rose and stepfather, Benjamin Rose and her father, Allen Wingate.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, John Buckingham; her children, Larry Lawson, Jr and Terri Fioravaniti; her stepson, John Buckingham Jr; her grandchildren, Paul Lawson and Joy Lawson; 3 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter; her sister, Mary Hilte and her brother, George Rose.
Services will be private.
