Dorothea “Dotti” Jean Jennings age 64 of Wilmington, went home to be with the Lord on May 24, 2023.
Dotti was predeceased by her parents, Edwin Edgar Blomquist and Myrtle Carolyn Riley and her brother Wayne and her sister Carolyn.
Dotti is survived by her loving husband Bill, her children, Dee Dee, Mandi “Mandolin” and Mario “Stuff”, and her grandchildren, Vincent, Nicholas, Destiny and Donald, whom she loved dearly. She is also survived by her siblings, Rodney, Chrystyn, Gene, Cheryl, Colleen, Cynthia, Jeff, Marnie, Richelle and Jeremy, along with many nieces and nephews.
Dotti loved horses, birds and all animals, she enjoyed feeding the neighborhood animals that came to her yard for a snack. Dotti had a kind and gentle spirit. She loved God and her family and friends, always putting others ahead of herself.
She will be dearly missed.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 12, 2023, at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 East Justis Street Newport, DE 19804, where visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. Dupont Hwy New Castle, DE 19720.
