Dorothy E. Bennett, age 87, of Wilmington, DE, formerly of Olyphant, PA, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 2, 2023.
Dorothy worked at WSFS and Chase banks for 24 years and held many other positions before retiring in 1996. She was a long-time member of Good News Church (formerly Berea Presbyterian Church of Hockessin) and was loved by her church family for her fiercely independent spirit which she showcased as their assistant librarian.
Dorothy enjoyed reading, crafts, and doing jigsaw puzzles. In addition to traveling to many great places especially St. Pete’s Beach in Florida.
She is survived by many relatives and friends.
Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday June 17, 2023 at Good News Church, 957 Old Lancaster Pike Hockessin, DE 19707, where visitation will begin at 11:30 AM.
