Age 94, of Silview, DE, went to be with the Lord, Monday, December 4, 2006.
Sis worked for Krebs School for 5 years and Sears department store for a number of years before retiting in 1973. She was a 50 year member of Peniel United Methodist Church, Peniel Women's Society and the Silver Saints. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and crafts.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Calvin McCallister, in 1973; son, Harold W.;1 brother and 5 sisters. Survivors include a daughter & son-in-law, Linda and Gene Gooding, of Tampa Bay, FL;
sister-in-law, Eleanor McCallister of Westview; 5 grandchildren and their children, David McCallister & his 3 children, Wayne McCallister & his 4 children, Kenneth McCallister & his 3 children, Kathryn Felt and her 1 child and Kristine Field and her 2 children.
Funeral services will be 2 pm, Friday, December 8th, in the chapel of Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N.Dupont Parkway, New Castle, where visitation will begin at 1:15 pm. Interment will follow in the adjoining memorial park.
