Edward Mahan

Edward F. Mahan, age 65, of Stanton, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2019 on his 65th birthday.

Ed graduated from Conrad High School in 1972. He worked for Chrysler for over 30 years and retired when the plant closed. Ed was a member of the UAW Auto Workers Union Local 1183.. He enjoyed cooking, crabbing, fishing ,music especially the Beatles and conversing and watching football with his family and friends. Ed was a people person.

Ed was preceded in death by his son, Edward Alfred Mahan and his parents.

Survivors include his daughter, Dawn Farmer (James); his grandchildren, Michael and J.D. Farmer and Kyle Martin; his great grandson, William Farmer; his sister, Maryann Mahan Brown; his nephews, Michael, James and Julius and his former wife, Debbie Mahan.

Memorial Services will be held at 3 pm on Thursday, August 8 at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 2 pm. Burial will be private.
