Edward Maynard

Edward J. Maynard, age 81, of New Castle, formerly of Connecticut, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 9, 2023.

Ed was the self employed owner of Martin Associates building and sales of boats out of Chesapeake Bay. He also worked with producing clean water for locations throughout the world.

Ed was an active member of Greenbank Church of Christ. He started the Food Pantry with his wife over 11 years ago partnering with the Food Bank of Delaware. He also helped with vocational training for people with autism.
Ed was a people person. His favorite hobbies were boating and attending church.

Ed is survived by his partner of 44 years, Sue; 4 children, 4 step children, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, and several grand children and great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Greenbank Church of Christ, 511 Greenbank Road Wilmington, DE 19808. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Greenbank Church of Christ.
