Beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend to many.
Edwin Rodriguez, Sr. was born in Wilmington, DE in 1967. He was the 4th of 5 children of Jose and Hilda Rodriguez. He is preceded in death by his mother, Hilda. Edwin is survived by his wife of 38 years, Ramona; his three children, Kalisha, Jose and Edwin Jr.; 10 grandchildren; his brothers, Juan, Harold, Jose and Robert; as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, uncles, and many friends.
Edwin worked at Zenith and then as a handyman. He enjoyed family gatherings, especially roasting an entire pig. He also enjoyed spending quality time with his grandchildren. He loved playing Three Blind Mice on his guitar off tune. He also enjoyed fishing with his father-in-law, Jorge. He enjoyed listening to salsa music and playing plena music with his crew.
We will miss you immensely and will love you forever.
Funeral services will be held at Noon on Monday, December 16, 2024, at CATALYST COMMUNITY CHURCH, 410 DENVER ROAD WILMINGTON, DE 19804, where visitation will begin at 11 AM.
