Elaine Cardwell, “Bub” age 69, of Newark, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2019.
Elaine worked in the hospitality field for many years. She enjoyed sports, especially the flyers and bears. Most of all, Elaine enjoyed being with her family.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Eleanor and her sister, Patti.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Cardwell, Sr; her son, Gary Cardwell, Jr and her siblings, Wally, Arlene, Bobo and Rita.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, September 6 at Christiana Pub, 10 W Main St, Newark, DE 19702, where friends and family may visit from 12 pm to 5 pm. Burial will be private.
In lieu of traditional funeral flowers, the family requests any flowers to be sent in Elaine's memory to be plantable arrangements.
