Elaine A. Hughes, age 80, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2006. She was the eldest daughter of the late Clarence and Gladys Fitts. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Clarence Fitts and sisters, Margaret Watson and Lorrine Fitts.
Elaine leaves to mourn, her two sons, Jeffery Hughes of Elkton, MD and John Patton, Jr. of OK; daughter, Iris Miller of DE; sisters, Gloria White and Frances Fitts both of Elkton; Doris Goode and Eloise Tiller both of North East; sister-in-law, Mary Fitts of CA; brothers-in-law, Laws Tiller and Orlando Goode of North East; one grandson, one great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was a member of Reed's AUMP Church in North East and a member of the Elk's Club of Havre De Grace as a Daughter Ruler.
Funeral services will be 12 noon, Saturday, August 19, 2006 at Reed's AUMP Church, Cecil Ave., North East, MD where visitation will begin at 11 am. The burial will be private.
