Eleanor "Sammy" Crocker

Sammy passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2017.
She retired from White's Drug Store after 35 years. Sammy was a lifetime, active member of Peniel United Methodist Church and was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Minquas Fire Company. She was an avid bowler at Pleasant Hills and enjoyed traveling.
Sammy was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, Fred Crocker in 2016, and by her parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Dianne Summers and her husband, Clem; her granddaughter, Marlo Bilsak and her husband, John; her great grandchildren, Victoria, John and Annaliese and her great great grandson, Nate.
Funeral services will be 11 AM on Thursday, February 16 at Peniel UMC where visitation will begin at 10 AM. Burial will be private.
Sammy's family would like to thank Newark Manor Nursing Home for the exceptional care they gave her.
