Betty was devoted to her family, enjoyed cooking and loved her cats, especially Pretty Boy.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband Paul in 2001. She is survived by her children, Paul D. Herrmann & wife Beth of PA; Paula Damiani & husband Michael of Bear, DE; Debbie Larimer & husband Tom of Middletown, DE; Sandra Todd & husband Edward of TX; and Valorie Cockman & husband Michael of Fl; her longtime companion Ed Twardus of Wilmington, DE; fourteen grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
