Age 84, of Newark, DE, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, March 24, 2010.

During WWII Sis worked as a union electrician on the Pennsylvania Railroad. While raising her family she worked for over 25 years at HobbiArt using her incredible creative talents with crafts. Every holiday was a special occasion and an opportunity to bring the family together. She made friends with everyone she met, and was generous beyond her means. She loved to travel, especially with family. After retirement, she moved to Lewes for several years and enjoyed the beach. Above all she loved her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Sis was a charter member of Kingswood United Methodist Church in Newark, Brookside Activites Council and a member of Chapter 13 Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed volleyball and swimming at the Newark Senior Center and, in her younger years, she enjoyed bowling at Brookside Bowling Lanes and roller skating.

Sis was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Alfred C. Wilson, Sr. in 2005 and her brother Joseph Golden.She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Alfred C., Jr. and Joyce Wilson of Crisfield, MD; her daughters and sons-in-law, Karen E. and Bonner Gilbert of Newark, and Michele and Gregg Wilson of Wilmington; one sister, Carolyn McCabe of Lyndalia; 5 grandchildren and their spouses, Bret and Melinda Wilson, Patricia and Daniel Carlson, Chad and LeAnne Wilson, Diane and Mark Brzoska and Erin and Nathan Passwaters; and 9 great grandchildren, Brandon, Heidi, Laura, Andrew, Elizabeth, Bridget, Claire, Justin and Sophia.
Funeral services will be11am, Monday, March 29th, at Kingswood UMC, 300 Marrows Rd., Newark, where visitation will begin at 10:00am. Interment will be private.
The family suggests contributions in Sis's memory to American Diabetes Assoc., 100 W. 10th St., Ste 1002, Wilmington, DE 19801.
