Age 72, of Newport, DE, passed away on, Tuesday, May 18, 2010.
Erma was a chef for many years at several local restaurants and a former President of the Gordy Estates Civic Association. Erma enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children; Debra Howard Ortiz and her husband Ray, Patrick S. Howard, Denise A. Howard, Donna Howard Reed and her husband Wayne, Dennis M. Howard and his wife Theresa, Stephen P. Howard, and Bobby L. Friant and his wife Heather; sister, Laura Randolph; grandchildren, Joseph DiPierro, Christina Ortiz, Shannon Howard, Jennifer Howard, Sarah Howard, Christopher Dougherty, Deneen Dougherty, Todd Reed, Ian Howard, Amanda Howard, Stephen P. Howard, Jr., Bobby L. Friant, Jr. and Dakota Friant; great grandchildren, Joseph DiPierro, Alana DiPierro, Gulianna DiPierro, Gianna DiPierro, Trinide Dougherty and Cali Dougherty.
Services and burial will be private.
