Ernest A. Smith of New Castle, Delaware passed away on Sunday, August 6th, 2017. He was born on May 5, 1951. He loved spending time with family and friends, cooking out, going to yard sales, collecting nick-nacks of spiders, horses, sailboats and costume jewelry.
Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents, Rosalee (Edward) Smith and Ernest G Smith; three sisters, Bessie, Peggy and Pearl; and two brothers, C.J. (Uncle Bud) and Donald (Uncle Duck) Smith.
Survivors include his two daughters, Tammy Brown (David) and Candi Smith (Justin); grandchildren, David, Rebecca, Thomas, Shawn, Brown, Breanna, and Dakota Kollar; five sisters, Shirley, Margaret, Marie, Hellen and Lucy; brother, Ronald Smith and many nieces and nephews including his nephew Alen; and best friends Kathy and Virgil who took care of him.
Services and burial will be private.
