Esther Ann Pawley, age 75, of Wilmington, formerly of New Castle, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2019.
Esther was a graduate of William Penn High School. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Esther was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, John T. Pawley; her siblings, Dorothy Barbara Keys, Francis Joseph Valentie, Mary Frances Flynn; and William Nicholas Jones; and Joseph Martin Flynn.
Survivors include her sister, Linda D. Kurattle (and her husband, Gus and family); children, Robert L. Bryant, Jr. (and his wife, Donna and family), Brenda Hanmerer (and Family), Joseph Pawley (and his family), William Pawley Kelley Pawley), and Thomas Pawley; nine grandchildren, Robert III, Danielle, Joseph, William Jr, John, Markiemarie, John, Vincent and Adam; and 6 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 12 noon. Burial will be private.
