Ethel Mae Wilson DiBuo
Ethel who lived in New Castle, was born on April 20, 1937 in Newark, DE to the late William and Bertha Wilson. She left this world to be with the Lord on Friday, February 15, 2008 after a long, hard struggle with Cancer.
Ethel was primarily a homemaker and worked at numerous Retail Stores. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Besides her parents, Ethel was preceded in death by her son Michael Anthony DiBuo and her brother William Wilson. She is survived by her husband, of 51 years, Orindo DiBuo, her children, Denise Stromberg of Northeast, MD, Steve DiBuo and his wife Cheryl of Bear, DE, and Norman DiBuo and his wife Carol of Northeast, MD; her brother, Charles Wilson; sisters, Patricia Harris, Peggy Atkins and Ruth Ann Boone; 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and special friend Melba.
Funeral services will be 9am on Friday, February 22 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME 212 E. Justis St. Newport, where visitation will begin at 8am. Burial will follow at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.
The family suggests contributions in Ethel's memory to the Helen Graham Cancer Center, 4701 Ogletown-Stanton Rd., Newark, DE 19713.
