Age 85, a resident of Kentmere, formerly of Woodcrest, passed away Monday, October 23, 2006.
"Toddy" was a graduate of Delaware Hospital School of Nursing and was a registered nurse for Tilton Terrace Nursing Home for many years.
She was a member of Peniel United Methodist Church in Newport and enjoyed bowling, her bridge club and traveling with her family, husband and girlfriends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Joseph T. Dobrzynski, in 2003.
Survivors include her son, Joseph D. Dobrzynski & his wife, Carol, of Gaithersburg, MD; her daughter, Denise Adams & her husband, Van, of Middletown, DE; and grandchildren, Amy, Van & Michael.
Services will be 1:00 pm, Thursday, October 26, 2006, at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 E.Justis St., Newport, where visitation will begin at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilmington.
The family suggests contributions, in Toddy's memory, either to Peniel UMC, 115 E. Market St., Newport, DE 19804 or National Parkinson's Disease Foundation, Inc., 1501 NW 9th Ave., Miami, FL 33136.
