Eva R. Ruggiero, age 51, of Elkton, formerly of New Castle, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 25, 2024.
Eva graduated from Delcastle Technical High School and is also a four year college graduate. She worked in Nursing and Health Care until she retired.
She enjoyed music, coloring, cooking, and spending time with her family, especially her grand babies.
Eva is preceded in death by her brother, Shawn Ewell; mother, Carol Ann Ewell and Father, Eduardo Ramos; Grandmother, Eva Rose Thompson and Grandfather, John F Thompson.
Survivors include her daughters, Joycleynn Ruggiero and Carolanne Ruggiero (Derez Wilson); son, Jesse Figgs (Lauren Woods); grandchildren, Imani Horton and Aria Figgs; stepmother; Barbara Sweets and stepfather, Wayne Ewell.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 8, 2024 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 East Justis Street Newport, DE 19804, where visitation will begin at 11:30 AM.
