Age 80 of Stanton, DE, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2006.
Evelyn was born and raised in Wilmington and a graduate of St. Thomas High School. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, James L. Martin, Sr., in 1999 and sisters, Doris Seller and Shirley Johnson. Survivors include her children, James L., Jr.,& wife Joanne of TN; Paul F. of Glasgow, DE; David A.& wife Sharon of Stanton, DE; Maryann Martin of Glasgow, DE; William E. of Stanton, DE; and Patricia A. McCrea & husband, John of Newark, DE; grandchildren, Jennifer, Ricky, Mary, Kristy and JohnMichael.
Services will be 9 am, Friday, October 27th at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 E. Justis St., Newport, DE. Visitation will begin at 8 am.Interment will follow at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Chesapeake City Rd., Bear, DE.
