Age 90, of Stanton, DE, died on Tuesday, October 7, 2008, at Heartland Hospice House.
Evelyn was the daughter of the late Lydia F. and Nolan Wyatt of Wilmington. She was a graduate of Wilmington High School in 1935 and Goldey College in 1937. Evelyn was employed by The News Journal, Circulation Department for 43 years before retiring in 1980. She then was a hospital volunteer at Wilmington Hospital in the Intensive Care Department until 2001. Evelyn earned her 5000 hour volunteer award. She was secretary and served on the supervisory committee of the Wilmington Newspaper Federal Credit Union.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, of 30 years, Paul E. Robinson. She is survived by her nieces, Jean Ann Kellagher of Bear, DE and Joan Barlow, of Burlington, VT; and nephew, James Brosch of Newark, DE and many good friends.
Graveside services will be private.
