Evelyn M. Vari, age 95, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, June 19, 2018.
Evelyn was born and raised in Wilmington, DE (The Flats). She went to Bayard School and Wilmington High School. Evelyn was a professional dancer for about 15 years doing U.S.O Shows and Stage. She worked as a secretary for DuPont and part time for Wilmington Trust at night. Once she married and had her son, she became a stay at home mom. Evelyn was all about her family. There is nothing she wouldn’t do for someone she loved, and she always put herself last.
Evelyn is survived by her son, John J. Vari, Jr and two grandchildren, John J. Vari, III and Eileen M. Vari. Thank you for being what a Mom should be. You will be missed and loved by your family forever.
