F. Elva Shinaberry, age 92, of Wilmington, formerly of Garfield Park, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021.
Elva was a 1945 graduate of A.I. duPont High School and then Goldey-Beacom College. She was retired from RCI Printing and also worked at Travel Travel, Happy Harrys and Capitol Buildings. Elva enjoyed people and had many friends. She enjoyed traveling, crocheting, game shows, reading and crossword puzzles. Elva was a Ford enthusiast.
Elva was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 42 years, Gary Lee Shinaberry.
Survivors include her daughter and caregiver Sharon Parker; her son, K. Allen Shinaberry (Patti); her brother, Howard Broaddus; her grandchildren, Andi Feeley and Dawn Shinaberry and her great grandson, Colin Feeley; her friend Rich.
Services will be private.
