Frances M. Cunningham, age 84, of the Forty Acres, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at home surrounded by her family.
Fran was a homemaker who devoted her life to her family. She was a great neighbor and friend to those lucky enough to have met her. Fran loved walking, lunch outings, and vacations to Dewey Beach. She was also a member of St. Ann’s church.
Fran was preceded in death by her children, Kathy Cunningham and Joseph Cunningham; and sister, Mary McDermott.
Survivors include her devoted husband of 63 years, James Cunningham; children, Mary Cullen (John), Jimmy Cunningham, Pat Cunningham, Sally Cunningham, Sean Cunningham (Marty) and Nancy Cunningham (Sam); cousin, Jimmy McGonigle; brother, Joe Farren (Carolyn); and 13 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.
Services and burial will be private.
