Frederick L. "Fritz" Schroeder, III, age 77, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2010.
Fritz was a member of the Iron Workers Union, the Delaware Setter & Pointer Club and the VFW Post 2863. He was an avid Phillies fan.
Fritz was the son of the late Agnes Schroeder Gardner and stepson of the late James Gardner.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Kehaulani Schroeder, his sister, SR. Vincent Schroeder, OSB, his brother Paul Schroeder, his daughters Carol Lee and Kelly, his son Michael, his step children, Michael, Craig and Kimberly and 15 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 7 PM on Wednesday, December 1 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St., Newport, where visitation will begin at 6 PM.
The family suggests contributions in lieu of flowers to Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home to assist with the funeral expenses.
