Gary L. Eastwell, age 72 of Newark, Delaware formerly of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018.
Gary was a member of the first graduating class of Freeland High School in 1963 before attending Central Michigan University. He worked for J.C. Penney for many years and then later at Home Depot in Delaware. Gary was active with the Boy Scouts in Delaware City. He enjoyed outdoor activities, NASCAR and working around the house.
Gary was preceded in death by his wife of over 20 years, Antoinette “Toni” Eastwell and sisters, Jane Dunham and Elaine Eastwell.
Survivors include his daughter Kari Coffey (Michael); his grandchild; his sisters, Nancy Haskins (Clare) and Karen Hatch (Harry); and his brother Robert Eastwell (Norma). He also left behind many close friends in Delaware and in Michigan,. Services and burial are private.
