Gary Savage

New Castle - Gary Theodore Savage, 65, passed away on September 15, 2018. Gary was a 1971 graduate of William Penn High School. He served in the United States Navy as a hospital corpsman and was a veteran of Operation Desert Storm. Gary loved country music and cooking. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and his dog Elmo. Gary is survived by his wife Diane Savage, his father Harold (Bud) Savage, his daughter Beth Buyse (Mike),stepdaughter Kristy Halsey, grandsons Colin, Jude, and Beau Buyse, Jacob Halsey, and granddaughters Madison and Emma Halsey. Gary is preceded in death by his mother Agnes and sister Jayne Foraker. At Gary’s request, no services will be held. His ashes will be spread at sea at a later date.
