Gary L. Wilson, Sr., of Wilmington, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019.
Gary was a Navy Veteran. He enjoyed Philadelphia Sports and was once scouted by the Phillies. He loved fishing and dyeing Easter eggs with his grandchildren.
Gary was preceded in death by his daughter, Dawn Wilson and his parents, Robert and Elsie Wilson.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Carol Wilson; his children, Gary L. Wilson, Jr, Sean Wilson and Jennifer Wilson; his siblings, David Wilson, Bobby Wilson, Karen Millken and Patricia Barnard; and his 3 grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at FREEDOM BIKER CHURCH,79 Christiana Rd, New Castle, DE 19720 where visitation will begin at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Gary’s memory may be made to VFW Post 475, 100 Veterans Dr, Newark, DE 19711
