Gaye M. Oakes, age 79, of Wilmington, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2017.
Gaye worked in Environmental Services for MBNA for 17 years before retiring in the early 2000's.
Gaye loved the Phillies, the Eagles and her grandkids.
Gaye was preceded in death by her daughter, Ruth Slaughter; her sisters, Faye and Gwen and her brothers, Raymond, Jessie and J.R.
Survivors include her daughters, Rita Conte (Oli Kachriman), Barbara Conte, Rhonda Pepe and Robin Norris (Robert), 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 17, at 3pm at her granddaughter, Tiffany Truman's house, 1 OLDE DUTCH DRIVE, TOWNSEND, DE 19734.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Gaye's memory can be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 325 Chestnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19106, www.kidney.org.
