George Wilson Reinert was the youngest of four children born to the late George Reinert and Gertrude Black Reinert. He passed away in his home on Sunday, August 9, 2015.
George was a WWII Army Veteran and was a career civil servant for the U.S. Air Force as a Ground Power Mechanic. He also was a Reservist in the Air Force.
George was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Mildred, on February 5, 2015. He is survived by his son, David; 3 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11 AM until Noon on Thursday, August 13 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St., Newport. Graveside services will follow at 1 PM at Lakeside Cemetery, N. State St., Dover.
The family would appreciate contributions in George's memory to the Veterans of Foreign War.
