Age 61 of Wilmington, went to be with the Lord on March 19, 2007.
He is survived by his wife, of 39 years, Diane Everett Stiles; a son George Warren Stiles, Jr. & daughter-in-law, Heather of Robsonia, PA; 4 grandchildren, Cameron, Allecia, Colin and Tyler; two sisters, Christine Dambro of Chadds Ford, PA and Bernice Chetty of Concordville, PA.
George was an Army veteran, serving in Vietnam, and worked in the construction trades for 40 years. He loved tennis, swimming and jogging. His loving contribution to society was his enormous desire to help others.
A memorial service will be, 1:00 pm, Friday, March 23rd at St.Mark's UMC, where visitation will begin at 12:30. Burial will be private.
The family suggests contributions, in George's memory, to Caring for Carcinoid Foundation, 1 Kendall Square, PMB 180, Cambridge, MA 02139 or St.Mark's United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1700 Limestone Rd., Wilmington, DE 19804.
