Georgios H. Koutavoulis, age 76, of New Castle, passed away at his home on Saturday, June 24, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
George was born in Tristino, Greece and immigrated to the United States in 1976.
He was an altar boy and cantor within the Greek Orthodox Church. George loved to sing and especially enjoyed playing the bouzouki (Greek guitar).
George is preceded in death by his parents, Christos and Eleni; sister, Dimitra; and brothers, Thanasi and Sotiris.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Eleni; children, Christos Koutavoulis and Irene Triantafillou (Yianni); and grandchildren Nicholas and Alex.
Services will be private.
