Geraldine “Gerry” Holler of Newark, DE, passed away after a short illness on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.
Gerry was born in Wilmington, Delaware graduating from Dickinson high school in 1964. She worked for MBNA America for 20 years. After retiring, she worked part-time at the Blood Bank of Delmarva until 2007 when her grandson was born.
Gerry spent the days in her later years at the Newark Senior Center, where she met and made many friends. Their memory care program brought her much comfort and support.
Gerry was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Edward R. Holler, Jr. , her son Eddie Holler and her parents, Elsie and Walter Cox.
She is survived by her daughter and her husband, Wendy and Greg Mullin; granddaughter, Allie Zurita and her husband Ed; grandson, Tyler Mullin; great grandchildren, Dominic, Amelia, Aiden and Luca; sister, Jackie Young; many loving nieces and nephews and other extended family.
Services will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at ST. PHILIP'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5320 Limestone Road Wilmington, DE 19808, where visitation will begin at 6:00 PM. Burial will be private.
