Gladys M. Lear, age 96 of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2008.
Gladys was a seamstress for the Maryland Dress Co. fo 35 years. She was a charter member of the Absalom Jones Senior Center and she loved to play bingo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Pansy Lear, her brothers Joe and Buddy Lear, and sisters Pansy Taylor, Cleo McElroy and Ethel Vazquez. Gladys is survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral Services will be 10am on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St., Newport, DE where visitation will begin at 9am. Burial will be at Silverbrook Cemetery, Lancaster Ave and DuPont Rd.
