Age 96, of New Castle, DE, formerly of Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 28, 2008.
Gracie was the last of eleven children. She enjoyed camping, dining out and visits to Delaware Park, She loved everyone she met.
Gracie was preceded in death by her son, Jack Rankins and her husband, Alan Capelle.Survivors include her son, Bobby Rankins and daughter-in-law, Janet of New Caslte; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services will be 11am, Friday, October 3, 2008, in the chapel at Gracelawn Memorial Park, N. Dupont Parkway, New Castle, where visitation will begin 1 hour prior. Burial will follow in the adjoining memorial park.
The family suggests contributions in Gracie's memory to Delaware Hospice, 3515 Silverside Rd., Wilmington, DE 19810.
