H. Andy Purdy, age 57, of Wilmington, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2020.
Andy was a 1982 graduate of Delcastle High School. He worked at Clover Department Store from the late 1980’s to the early 1990’s. He also worked at Pepsi for over 10 years. Andy was an Army Veteran. He was a member of the Teamsters Union and St. James Episcopal church. Andy enjoyed fishing, Nascar, and football, especially the Eagles and the Ravens. He loved playing softball and golf and his dogs.
Andy was preceded in death by his father, Harold Purdy.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Lisa Purdy; his daughter, Amber Purdy; his son, Eric Purdy; his mother, Claire Purdy; his siblings, Sherry Doyle, Lisa Bush, Patrick Purdy and Rebecca Purdy; his grandchildren, Felicia and Daytona and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 3:30-5:00 pm on Friday, November 6 at ST. JAMES EPISCOPAL CHURCH, 2 S Augustine St, Wilmington, DE 19804 where masks are required along with social distancing. Burial will be private.
