Hal passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Beebe Medical Center.
Hal and his son Chris took pride in working together in establishing a successful contracting business as co-owners of H. Rodenhiser and Son.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, dining out, and football, especially the Eagles. Prior to his health issues, one of his most favorite hobbies was taking care of his lawn and flower garden at his homes in Wilmington and the beach. Although unable to fish in recent years, he was an avid fisherman and was proud of the several citation awards he received.
Hal was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Dorothy L., son, Chris (Patty); daughter, Pam Breakiron (Don); stepdaughter, Karen Rich (Frank); stepson, Kevin Mabry and grandchildren, Gwen, Eric, Dottie, Shaun, Frankie and Leah. Hal was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy N. in 1982, his 2 sisters and his 2 brothers.
At Hal's request, his burial will be private. A service honoring his life will be announced at a later date.
