Harold Smith

Age 64, of Florida, formerly of Newport, DE, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2011. Harold worked at Smith Seat Covers and the DuPont Company. He was a graduate of Goldey-Beacom College. Harold was a Vietnam War veteran, serving in the Airforce. He enjoyed attending services at Crossroads Community Church in Georgetown. Harold liked car shows, fishing and old Western movies. Harold is survived by his daughter, Connie Willey and her husband Michael; a brother Edward; and numerous extended family members. Funeral Services will be 2pm on Friday, July 15 in the chapel at Gracelawn Memorial Park, N. DuPont HWY., New Castle, where visitation will begin at 1pm. The family suggests contributions in Harold's memory to VFW Post 475, 100 Veteran's Drive, Newark, DE 19711.
