Hazel M. Shortlidge, age 52, of Newark, joined her parents on Monday, June 21, 2021 at her home.
Hazel loved her dogs and caring for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Christine Costorf.
Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Donald Shortlidge; her children, Sammy, Kelly, and Krystal Rappe (Stephen) and one grandson, Harvey due in November.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7 pm on Wednesday, June 30 at Peniel United Methodist Church, 115 E Market St, Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 6 pm. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Donald Shortlidge, in c/o Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home.
