Helen M. Davis
Wilmington - Helen, age 100, passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021.
Helen was a very active member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church where she was involved in the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary. She was also a member of the St. Matthew's Senior Society and Claymore Senior Center. Helen enjoyed playing bridge, reading and sewing.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband Walter A. Davis; her son, Walter L. Davis and her great grandson, Evan Lewandowski.
Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Lewandowski (Ray Sr); her daughter in law, Elaine Davis; her grandchildren, Ray Lewandowski Jr, Andy Lewandowski (Kathleen) and Matthew Davis (Christi); and her great grandchildren, Rebekah Barron (Ted), Oliva Lewandowski, and Jack and Kate Davis.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Friday, March 19 at St. MATTHEW'S CHURCH, 901 E Newport Pike, Wilmington, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 9 am. Interment will follow at Cathedral Cemetery. Masks and social distancing will be required.
