Age 93, of the Stanton area, passed away at Brandywine Nursing Home on, Thursday, January 8, 2009.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Stradley, in 1968. She is survived by her children, Carol Shaffer of Middletown and P.R. Stradley (Mary) of Middletown; her brother, H. Burton Elliott of Wilmington; her sisters, Marion Farquar of Cedars and Jean Gray (Lowell) of Wilmington; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11am, Monday, January 12th, in the chapel at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N.Dupont Hwy., New Castle, where visitation will begin at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in the adjoining memorial park.
