Hilda M. Figueroa, of New Castle formerly of Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico, passed away on Tuesday March 29, 2022 at the age of 72.
Hilda enjoyed reading, watching soap operas, word puzzles and cooking. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.
Hilda is survived by her daughter Birgen Vasquez (Miguel); her son Juan Cruz (Yolanda); daughter Anna Mercado; sons Edwin Valladares and Delvis Valladares; sister Maria Casiano; 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Services for Hilda will be held on Monday April 4, 2022 at Nichols – Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 East Justis Street Newport, DE 19804. Services will begin at noon with a visitation at 11am. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
Contributions can be made to the Heart Association or towards the Funeral Expense.
