Hong Ji, age 50, of Newark, DE, formerly of Rochester, MN and Shanghai, China, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023.
Hong Ji graduated from the University of Southern California with a Masters in Electrical Engineering. She worked as a Marketing Manager for Electronic Technology since 2006 and before that she was an Electronic Engineer for TeleCommunications Technology.
Hong Ji loved gourmet foods, listening to music, and traveling. Her name has the meaning of "Rainbow" as symbol of bridge between clouds and the earth, which represents the beautiful and awesome chance God continuelly gives us to start anew after a storm.
She is survived by her spouse of 24 years, Min Hong; brothers, WangJun Hong and HeTao Zhang; sisters, Yun Ji, JinXiu Hong and LinXiu Hong; and parents, JuFu Ji and Guo’ai Han.
