Irene enjoyed playing Bingo at St. Matthews Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel J. Vari in 1978 and her daughter, Sandra Gallucio. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Ann Pietuszka and her husband John; a brother; a sister; 7 grandchildren 17 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 26 at St. Catherine of Sienna, 2503 Centerville Rd., Wilmington where visitation will begin at 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. Entombment will follow in Cathedral Cemetery,
2400 Lancaster Ave., Wilmington.
