Age 77, of Elkton, MD, formerly of Crisfield, MD, died on Friday, January, 7, 2011.
Jack worked for NVF for more than 30 years as an accountant and then continued to work as a CPA in private practice. He was a Marine veteran, serving during the Korean War. Jack was an honorary member of the Cole-Younger band.
Jack was preceded in death by his brothers Walter M. Ward and E.G. Adams. Survivors include his Life Partner, Linda P. Whiteside; his daughters, Jackie L. Ward, Linda Ward Brittingham, Tracy Ward Denman and Laura Ward Bellotte; his sisters Patsie Odell and Karen Walls; and 11 grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be offered at 10:30am on Saturday, January 15th at Holy Angels Church, 82 Possum Park Road, Newark, DE. Burial will be private. A reception will follow from noon-3 p.m. at Deerfield Country Club.
The family suggests contributions to Seasons Hospice, 133 N. Bridge St., Elkton, MD 21921.
